Terms of Service

Short version

Using WakeUpBroo to set and manage alarms requires a WakeUpBroo Pro subscription. New users get a free trial before they are charged. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, auto-renew until you cancel, and can be cancelled at any time from your Apple ID subscription settings.

Agreement to these terms

By installing or using WakeUpBroo (the “app”) or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or website.

What WakeUpBroo is

WakeUpBroo is an alarm clock app that you dismiss by scanning a QR code or entering a code shown on this website. The app is provided as-is for personal use.

Pro subscription

WakeUpBroo is a paid app: setting and managing alarms requires a WakeUpBroo Pro subscription. Pro currently includes:

• Unlimited alarms
• All alarm sounds
• Priority support
• All future Pro features as they are released

If you installed WakeUpBroo before the Pro requirement was introduced, you may retain limited free access (one alarm with the default alarm sound).

Pro features may change over time. We will not remove features that you have already paid for during an active subscription period.

Subscriptions, billing, and free trial

WakeUpBroo Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, billed through the Apple App Store. Prices are shown in your local currency at the time of purchase.

New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. If you start a free trial, you will not be charged during the 7-day trial period. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. Eligibility for the free trial is determined by Apple and is generally limited to first-time subscribers.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewals are charged to your Apple ID payment method at the price in effect at the time of renewal.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscriptions section of your Apple ID on iPhone (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals. You will keep Pro access for the remainder of the current billing period.

All payments are processed by Apple, not by WakeUpBroo. We do not issue refunds ourselves and cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf. Any refund request must be made directly to Apple according to Apple's refund policy. Apple decides whether a refund is granted.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices in the future. If we increase the price of an existing subscription, Apple will notify affected subscribers in advance and require explicit consent before applying the new price. You can cancel your subscription if you do not wish to accept a price change.

License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use WakeUpBroo on devices you own or control, for personal use. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or modify the app, except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

Acceptable use

Don't use WakeUpBroo to do anything illegal, abusive, or harmful. Don't attempt to bypass the subscription system, tamper with the app, or use it in a way that could harm other users or the service.

No warranty

WakeUpBroo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. While we work hard to make alarms reliable, we cannot guarantee that the app will be available, error-free, or that an alarm will fire on time in every circumstance (for example, if your device is off, in a battery-saver mode that suspends apps, or out of power). Do not rely on WakeUpBroo as the sole alarm for safety-critical wake-ups.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WakeUpBroo and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the app or website. Our total liability for any claim related to the app or subscription is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using WakeUpBroo at any time by uninstalling the app and cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate access to the app or Pro features if you violate these terms or use the app in a way that could harm the service.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Material changes that affect your subscription rights will be communicated through the app or via the App Store.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
