Data Deletion

Short version
Most of your WakeUpBroo data isn't held by us in the first place. Your alarms and settings live on your phone. Your active subscription, if any, lives with the Apple App Store. The only off-device data we hold is an anonymous subscription record at our payments provider, RevenueCat. To delete it, email us. Details below.
What data exists, and where
- Alarms, labels, ringtones, settings — stored only on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. We never see this data.
- Subscription & payment records — held by the Apple App Store. We never see your card details or full purchase history. To manage or cancel a subscription, use Apple's subscription page.
- Anonymous subscription tracking — held by RevenueCat, our subscription validator. This is a randomly generated user ID linked to your purchase events (subscribe, cancel, renew). It is not linked to any personal information — no name, no email, no device fingerprint.
If you have only ever used the free tier of WakeUpBroo (no subscription), we hold no data about you at all. Uninstalling the app is enough.
How to request deletion
If you have subscribed to WakeUpBroo Pro and want your RevenueCat record deleted, email us at apps.by.shyam@gmail.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”. We don't need any account details — mention the Apple ID email you used to subscribe and we'll handle it.
Before you ask
To make sure deletion is clean, please:
- Cancel any active subscription via Apple ID subscription settings first. We can't delete the record while a subscription is still active.
- Uninstall the app from your phone if you no longer want the on-device data either.
What gets deleted, and what doesn't
- Deleted: your RevenueCat customer record — anonymous user ID, subscription event log, diagnostic info linked to that ID.
- Not deleted by us: the App Store's record of the original purchase, kept by Apple for tax and compliance reasons. To act on Apple's data, contact Apple Support directly. We have no control over their retention policy.
Timeline
We'll respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Most requests are processed within a few days because RevenueCat exposes a direct deletion endpoint and there's no manual review on our end — we just verify your email matches the subscription on file.
